Isang Bote ng Liwanag (A Bottle of Light)

We all know how important light is. It's the source of life and nobody can argue with it. Without light the Earth would be colder than you expect it to be and living on it would be impossible. This is just one of the importance of light in our life.

A group of students from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) have designed and developed a Solar Bottle Bulb based on the principles of appropriate technologies - a concept that provides simple and easily replicated technologies that address basic needs in developing communities. This technology then spread to the whole world and helps a lot of countries having problems in electricity.

MyShelter Foundation, a non-stock and non-profit Organization in the Philippines, created a project called Isang Litrong Liwanag, a sustainable lightning project, which aims to bring eco-friendly Solar Bottle Bulb to areas having electricity problems in the country.

2. Register for free by Clicking on either one of the buttons enclose in red box in the image below.

3. You will then be redirected to the registration page. Refer to image below. Just fill up the necessary fields then Agree to Terms of Use then press Submit button.

4. After completing the registration page, you will be redirected to the page below. You may opt to fill up the data form in this page or continue to completing your registration by clicking on the phrase in color blue "Finish sign up"(enclose in red box below).

5. When you've completed your registration you will then see the page below. A confirmation email is sent to the email address you used to register. This mail contains the username and password of your account.

6. Once you receive the confirmation email you may then login to the site. In the lower right part of the page, you may choose an Account Manager or Customer Representative to chat or talk to  for guidance and anything else that you may need to know. Kindly refer to image below.
